The storm has arrived.today, was a jam packed busy day. With never-ending admissions coupled with 2 transfers to the general wards for myself. only managed to knock-off from work at 8.30. And mind you, it was'nt because i could'nt finish my work. Simply because i could'nt hand over to the receiving staff as early as it usually would be. Anyway, the heavy rain gave me another reason to take a cab home and i did. Bought dinner for myself, which was officially my first meal for the day. And finished every bit of it. I was THAT hungry.
Work aside, my birthday was awesome! Met up with nesh and tissher at tampines where they treated me to Lunch. They bought this really huge balloon which i had to carry around the entire day. And yes, i was stared at by many passerbys as if they've never seen a balloon this huge in their entire life. Anyway, lunch was followed by a few games of bowling at downtown with his siblings and his mom. Had fun! And then after much thinking, nesh and i decided to head down to cuscaden patio in town. Met jonathan, ayu and mahes for a treat to a few round of beer. I love draught beer! Once we were high and happy, we headed to macdonalds and filled our beer bellies. It was one of the most carefree birthdays i've had. Getting optimally high made us say and do silly things which i must say i enjoyed every moment. And then, cabbed back to nesh's place. And luckily, zilch hangover for the afternoon shift thereafter. (:
Bowled again, at downtown yesterday with jonathan, nesh and hariee this time. And i must say i'm starting to love bowling! Played a few games of pool after that before grabbing supper. Went over to nesh's for a while and shared a cab home with jon. Could'nt believe i was going home at 12.15am from his place when i could stay over. But did'nt have my working stuff and besides jon would have to go home alone.
Alright, this is getting lengthy. And i'm getting sleepy.
