well update update.
WORK - has been alright so far. Okay, who am i kidding..everyday, well most of the days, i'm struggling to come out alive and trying my utmost bestest to not forget anything! And i'm glad that there are many kind souls who are willing to teach and help whenever they can. And for that, i thank god for creating such people. Other than that, was looking through old pictures. And i've realized how much i miss the very friends whom made my school life a whole lot better. I think the best thing about school was basically just them and a few inspiring lecturers. Lessons were pretty alright, in fact i cant remember half the things i've studied. Frankly how many of you nurses can remember everything you've studied in Fundamentals of Nursing, Nursing Science 1-4..DDD..wth, cant even get a quick recall to my mind as to what i've studied the past 3 years. Anyway as far as i know, the only thing that really sticks in my head right now is Crit Care and i'm trying to consolidate all the information about the heart. Other than that, almost nothing else matters. Yes not even NURSING MANAGEMENT which freaking took up 5 CREDIT POINTS of my GPA in my final year. asswipe!
Anyway i'm just saying that working is alot more enriching and realistic. It definitely is'nt all a bouquet of roses, but if u enjoy doing what you do, you'll somehow learn to survive. So to those graduating..my 2 cents worth of advice is that, if you dont like nursing right now, you're gonna hate it even more later..and to those who are bonded, dont be shocked that you MIGHT just regret getting bonded once you start work..and to those who still love nursing..good for you! But things MIGHT..change after a while...and i'd advice u all to find your niche..find a place you'd like to be in..environment is important..and while you're at it and it all seems tough, remember you're not alone and that in time, you'll get used to it, and you'll probably be able to survive anything else that comes your way.
Okay, enough said from aunty clare..Lol. There's so much more i can say actually but to those who have yet to graduate, i dont really wanna scare you..but am just giving you the face of reality..because everything they tell you in school is ALMOST all things sugar and everything nice..not until PRCP of course.
Till then.. (:
impulsively and honestly,
yours truly
