well well..
its been've a week.
Today will be my 4th day in CCU.
So far, most of the staff are relatively nice. (:
But am just trying to get the hang of the routine and the things that need to be done at its appropriate timings. Also, have been trying to study on ECG readings which has resulted in me spending $64 for a book on ECG Intepretation. Seriously need to master it well.
Somehow a part of me misses the whole ward routine. the ICU somehow is'nt as hectic as the ward is but basically everything needs to be done fast fast fast. I guess i'm still not used to the way it all works but i'm giving myself 1 month to accustom myself to everything. Next week will be filled with trainings once again. And i'm hoping the ICU induction will aid in my adaptation..i believe it will. Anyways, really short entry. Gotta report for training at 1.30 then after that go for PM shift. Till thenn..cheerios! (:
