hellooooo...
its been've a rather hectic week.
Celebrated chester's birthday, had drinks at timbre, even though i had work today at 9am.
Went to nesh's place after timbre. The journey from pasir ris to NUH is'nt exactly well, pleasant.
its damn bloody far la! But since the boyfri. ASKED and pleaded with me a few times to go over, i did. And he actually was in a more alcoholic higher state than i was despite having the same drinks. But like i've always said, i kinda love my wasted boyfr than my regular one. He's somehow a little bit more "charming".
Enough about nesh.
Orientation today was FUN. It was very service service service oriented. The entire session was basically about customer service. Felt as if i was joining the hotel industry instead. But it was rather enriching and i enjoyed the discussions, games and all that was taught. The trainer was extremely engaging as compared to the previous classes the past few days. Am looking forward to tomorrow's session. The final session before i report to work at CCU on monday. Made many new friends along the way. Hopefully everything goes good. And did i mention? I went to with Lijing(Thanks girl for accompanying me!) CCU to get my roster yesterday and my first impression was: WOW.
The staff there seemed really friendly and a few of them were really helpful when i approached them and the Nursing Manager(NM)&Nursing Clinician(NC) seemed really nice. In fact it was "too nice to be true". Considering the fact the NMs and NCs have always been stereotyped to be as : strict, stern and very regimental. But they changed my impression and sort of allayed my anxiety of stepping into a "foreign place". Even lijing was kinda impressed. But being the pessimist that i am when it comes to people, i told her that looks or first impressions can sometimes be deceiving and i did'nt want to keep my expectations too high or be too happy too fast. But the warmth that i felt when i stepped in there in addition to the friendliness of the staff, it felt really good. I just hope it'll be this way when i start working there. =/
I'm kinda sleepy since i've only managed 4 hours of sleep last night..So i shall do myself a favour and hit the sacks soon. Wish me luck people! Till then...cheeriosss!! ((:
