its 1.43 AM and a thursday.
It seems so long till Saturday arrives. Although its just 2 days.
Just 2 more days till nesh and i fly off to phuket, for my final break before NUH officially owns my ass.
I'm still kinda upset that SilkAir delayed our departing flights to phuket to 7PM, which means lesser time for the both of us. Dammit. But I dont exactly have a choice do i. *tsktsktsk.
Anyway, the past few days have been pretty..well alright.
Been cleaning up my room, Mummy insists i clean it up before i leave and yeah coming up with a shopping list and trying to pack as light as possible so that i dont have to drag a luggage bag to the airport on Saturday. And SO, i've managed to get down to just the bare necessities and even tossed the holy coin which instructed me 3/3 times to use just my medium sized OP sling Bag.
So its work tomorrow, and then will be heading to school to get some stuff printed.
Graduation at Ngee Ann is officially on the 27th May. Kinda makes me reminisce on all the times spent there. Wish i could do it all over again, if i could, i'd do a few things differently. But then again, ironically, i'm glad its all over. And i'm in the rat race to earn big bucks, a degree and move up the career ladder.
Been've getting pressured about having to start in a new place(ccu) and some people have told me that it really is'nt going to be easy and that i'll have to start from scratch as compared to those who've already familiarized themselves having been posted there for PRCP. But i'll take it as a challenge and hopefully, i'll get through it well. I really hope and wish for really nice staff to work with in there. But this being an opportunity given, i would'nt want to let it go by just like that. Its basically the beginning of my career of being a Critical Care nurse, something i've always wanted to do, and i really hope it suits me and most importantly i enjoy what i do and at the end of it, people-patients benefit. Yes i love my profession, i know i say this ever too often. But YES, i love my profession.
Tell me, how many people actually LOVE their profession/job?
alright, enough of nursing. shall have a game of dota before i sleep. Am actually researching on Australian Unis for my post-reg degree. (:
