hellooo.
its 5pm now. Just got back from the vet at clementi. Had to bring bush to see the vet coz just a few days ago, we sort of noticed him limping. And found out that his cartilage was actually wearing off at his left hind leg. He was given an injection to promote cartilage healing and some analgesics. Bush was such a brave boy!
Anyway, I just cant help but keep telling myself that Singapore is really damn boring! There is absolutely nothing exciting to do or to see. So i spent my saturday helping out at glasshouse and on sunday, met nesh in town before heading to downtown east to check out the new mall. It was alright, relatively small. but at least it had a cinema and NEW YORK NEW YORK! Caught the forbidden kingdom(again) with nesh, tisshar and hariee, stayed over his place and got back on monday morning. Monday was basically spent watching movies and grey's anatomy at home.
And YESTERDAY, was probably the highlight of the week or possibly the month apart from phuket of course. Met nesh for lunch at bukit panjang, before we went separate ways. I decided i needed to get just a tube top from bugis. And that lead to me spending more than $220 on shopping. Lets just say i've spent more than $600 this month on shopping already in phuket as well as in singapore. Anyway, i'm really glad i went on a shopping spree yesterday. Its been've ages since i've actually shopped like that, considering the fact that i am NOT an impulsive buyer.
I guess it kinda makes up for all the times i've fallen short of my shopping frenzies.
I finally bought my bag, though it was'nt as nice as the Aldo one i saw at bugis. Which cost $97. Maybe when i actually start earning proper income when i start work, i'll consider buying that. Bought 2 dresses and a boyfriend shirt! Something i've wanted to get for a while. Bought shoes for my convocation and girly slippers with a flower on top. Something to replace the one i bought from bangkok which broke a few months ago! Oh and i bought a belt as well.
Had initially wanted to get some skirts, but nothing caught my eye. But I really like the one at Fox. The one in a pale yellow shade. Just did'nt have the time to get it as i was rushing for work after that. I reached gh at 7pm when i was supposed to start at 6!
Anyway, the week is kinda packed with activities and i'm glad because next week, is my official commencement date for work at NUH. A totally new experience and a new life ahead. If i actually am posted to CCU as beishan told me, i'd have alot of learning to do and basically it'll be back to books again. I hope all goes well, that i'll meet nice colleagues, patients and relatives. Okay, thats almost impossible. I just need nice colleagues, that's all that'll matter.
And i'm officially on a diet regime and have been religiously following it for the past 6 days. Will need to go for my run tonight. And later am finally meeting the BOBs! miss them loads! Looking forward to dinner with them. (:
