heelloooo worrldd.
after tomorrow, its officially 2 weeks since PRCP have passed. that leaves me with 12 more weeks..damn! Still a looooooonnnnnnnnggggg way to go man. But my preceptor is reaally really nice. and i'm just glad she's my preceptor. I pray i dont make any grave mistakes that could cost me my career. I prayyy for compliant patients..(like real). Today, one of the patients in my cubicle passed away, i have so much to say but i shall leave it as that since it is always essential to uphold patient confidentiality. Had orientation at KRW, which i fell asleep throughout. The place was so cosy and comfy. How could i resist!! Lol. Moreover they were talking about IT systems we were required to know about whilst working in the wards. I really tried to keep awake!
I have yet to memorize the 40-50 most common drugs kept in the ward and my dear Clinical Instructor is gonna conduct some test for us on the list of drugs. And not just that, its Indications and Side Effects. OmG. If those of you reading this STILL think Nursing is really easy, you ought to slap yourself. but i must say, the training is really thorough. It is'nt supposed to but it does break you at one point of the 3 years and many, nursing school WILL break you, but at the end of it, you'd somehow be thankful, at least i am(as i approach the end). I've grown so much more emotionally stronger and you just know it when something changes you, for good. And that's something nursing can do, IF you put your heart in it of course. Enough of nursing...
Saturday i'm off to Genting(again) with nesh, will meet mummy and cleo there since i'm on afternoon shift tomorrow. I'm glad i'm having a short breakaway. India Manipal trip is more or less confirmed on the 24th March to 5th April. I'll be gone for 2 whole weeks in INDIA! woots. Okaaayyy..Bangalore to be exact. Just hope more seniors will be going for that trip. (:
I think i'm gonna go catch some sleep...have been working since what..8? till 11..yeah, was at F&Co againn..had fun working today though. Till then, Tara!
